Not\u00adhing achie\u00adved, war whe\u00adre\u00adver you look, the world is a mess, impe\u00adria\u00adlism stron\u00adger than ever: \"The Pre\u00adven\u00adti\u00adve Strike\" sub\u00adsti\u00adtu\u00adtes decent poli\u00adtics and reason.<\/p>\n<p>Do we have an obli\u00adga\u00adti\u00adon to try and chan\u00adge things, to push har\u00adder to get the obs\u00adta\u00adcles out of our&nbsp;way?<\/p>\n<p>Let me compa\u00adre the ener\u00adgy we have in ear\u00adly stages of our lives to a bat\u00adtery - no, not the rech\u00adar\u00adgeable type, one of tho\u00adse old-fashio\u00adned ones you buy, use and then throw away. When\u00adever we enga\u00adge in brin\u00adging about chan\u00adges we use up some of our ener\u00adgy. This drains our bat\u00adtery, we have a litt\u00adle less left to use. Now this goes on for years, and, depen\u00adding on how much and how often we try to do things, the bat\u00adtery loo\u00adses power. Soo\u00adner or later we rea\u00adli\u00adze how much has gone alre\u00ada\u00addy - and that we need to be careful to keep wha\u00adte\u00adver is left or at least use it more eco\u00adno\u00admic\u00adal\u00adly in the time to come - becau\u00adse we do not want the bat\u00adtery to be total\u00adly out of power befo\u00adre&nbsp;time.<\/p>\n<p>But what about the obs\u00adta\u00adcles in this world? Did they get less on the way? May\u00adbe to a cer\u00adtain degree, but not much at all. Do I feel bad about not \"stop\u00adping it all\"? No, there\u00b4s a gene\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon after mine, wai\u00adting to use up their batteries!<\/p>\n<p>Get at it, start doing it, but ask yours\u00adelf - wha\u00adte\u00adver you want to do - is it worth the energy?<\/p>\n<p>The next topic will be Bemer\u00adkun\u00adgen \u00fcber Zim\u00admer\u00adpflan\u00adzen.
