The news crew was cove\u00adring a sto\u00adry of a man on a ledge of a lar\u00adge buil\u00adding pre\u00adpa\u00adring to&nbsp;jump.<br>\nThe blon\u00adde loo\u00adked at Tom and&nbsp;said,<br>\n\"Do you think he'll&nbsp;jump?\"<br>\nTom&nbsp;says,<br>\n\"You know, I bet he'll&nbsp;jump.<br>\nThe blon\u00adde replied,<br>\n\"Well, I bet he won't.\"<br>\nTom pla\u00adced a $20 bill on the bar and&nbsp;said,<br>\n\"You're on!\"<br>\nJust as the blon\u00adde pla\u00adced her money on the bar, the guy on the ledge did a swan dive off the buil\u00adding, plum\u00adme\u00adting to his death. The blon\u00adde was very upset and han\u00added her $20 to Tom, saying,<br>\n\"Fair's fair.
