Ich erspa­re mir hier jeg­li­chen inhalt­li­chen Kom­men­tar, der Text spricht für sich selbst.
Ich ver­ste­he jetzt aber bes­ser, war­um die - meist erz­re­li­giö­sen, dafür aber schlecht gebil­de­ten - Bush-Anhän­ger Umwelt­schutz und 'peak-oil' für eine Erfin­dung ihrer 'Geg­ner' halten ....
Nun, mit einer außer­or­dent­lich man­gel­haf­ten natur­wis­sen­schaft­li­chen Aus­bil­dung in Schulen/Universitäten für die brei­te Mas­se darf man ja wohl auch kein Ver­stän­dis für natur­wis­sen­schaft­li­che Fak­ten oder Zusam­men­hän­ge erwarten .... 

Wir wer­den wohl in ein paar Jah­ren auch soweit sein:
Der­glei­chen Wis­sen wird 'im Arbeits­le­ben' nicht gebraucht - und daher als Bal­last aus den Cur­ri­cu­la gestrichen ....
