What did the TRUMP-tariffs actually achieve?
A decrease so small it's ridiculous!

This text is shown to correct one of the lies Mr. Trump will
- for sure - tell Feb. 24, 2026 in his "State-of-the-Union" Speech

The US Supreme Court recently ruled most of Trump's so-called tariffs unlawful. This is a severe blow to his economic policies and his self-image. But what did the tariffs actually achieve? The US president justified the measures at the time as a step towards tackling the large US trade deficit. This occurs when a country imports more goods and services than it exports. But many economists had warned beforehand: Tariffs are not a suitable instrument for reducing the large import surplus. Instead, they would drive up consumer prices for many products. They were right.

The consumers had to pay the tariffs - which raised the prices of everyday goods like eggs, milk, produce, fuel. The "BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL" shoves all that additional money into the pockets of Trumps Billionaire donors & associates .... it will never reduce the burden on ordinary people.
Trumps Address is best enjoyed using this gadgets red button ....
