Schwebt mir auch so vor, obwohl bei Google und dict die Varianten ohne 'w' und mit 'a' ebenfalls als korrekt angegeben werden.
Weswegen bin ich für die Lösung 'nerve wrecking'? Weil da die Zerstörung, der Abbruch drinsteckt.
Yep. Und das kommt meinem Wissen nach in dem Fall bei "wrecking" 'raus.
